      Braves' Nate Freiman: Signs with Braves

      Freiman signed with the Braves on Wednesday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports. Freiman was waived by the Athletics last week, but wasn't on the open market long as the Braves picked him up. The 28-year-old hit just .220/.279/.321 in 79 games at the Triple-A level last season, so he's unlikely to make much of an impact in the big leagues in 2016.
