White Sox rookie outfielder Trayce Thompson sustained a hyper-extended left elbow attempting a diving catch in the ninth inning Monday against Oakland. He rolled over on the arm and was forced out of the game, but x-rays were negative and he is considered day-to-day. It could have been worse. I'm pretty lucky." He will have it evaluated again Tuesday.
