It is not exactly known what has Ramirez ailing, with manager Joe Maddon telling "He was not OK tonight. That's why I could not use him. I have to find out more about that." Ramirez returned from the disabled list on June 28 after dealing with a shoulder injury. It is not known if his current issue is related to that injury, or if it's something new.
