Rangers' Antoan Richardson: Outrighted from 40-man roster

Richardson was outrighted from the 40-man roster Wednesday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. The 32-year-old didn't make an appearance with the Rangers this year as a back injury stifled his 2015 season. He's been in the majors twice in his six-year career and has recorded just 20 major league at-bats, so he probably won't get too much interest if he opts to become a free agent this offseason.
