    The Rockies announced Tuesday 24 players received non-roster invites to spring training. The roster breakdown is 12 pitchers, four infielders, two outfielders and six catchers. The pitchers are Christian Bergman, Brooks Brown, Greg Burke, Eddie Butler, Manny Corpas, Yohan Flande, Jonathan Gray, Pedro Hernandez, Chris Martin, Nick Masset, Scott Oberg and Josh Sullivan. The four infielders are Paul Janish, Angelys Nina, Ben Paulsen and Rafael Ynoa. The two outfielders are Jason Pridie and Tim Wheeler. The six catchers are Ryan Casteel, Dustin Garneau, Matt McBride, Michael McKenry, Tom Murphy and Jackson Williams. Gray, Butler and Murphy are among the team's top prospects.

    Rockies sign three to minor-league deals

    The Rockies have signed second baseman Rafael Ynoa and pitchers Pedro Hernandez and Nate Striz to minor-league deals, Baseball America reports. Ynoa hit .267/.338/.370 with six home runs, 33 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 484 at-bats with Double-A Chattanooga in 2013. Hernandez went 3-3 with a 6.83 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 29:23 K:BB ratio in 56 2/3 innings with the Twins. Striz went 1-4 with a 3.14 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 59:26 K:BB ratio in 57 1/3 innings with high Class A Salem.
