      Dodgers RP Matt West clears waivers, on the way to Triple-A

      Dodgers relief pitcher Matt West , who was designated for assignment on July 11, has cleared waivers and was sent outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City, per West didn't allow a run in two appearances for the Dodgers this season.

      Dodgers activate Brandon Beachy, option Josh Ravin, DFA Matt West

      As expected, the Dodgers activated Brandon Beachy from the 60-day disabled list to start Saturday's game, the team announced. Beachy has been recovering from Tommy John surgery and hasn't pitched in a MLB game since August, 2013. To make room on the active roster, the team optioned RHP Josh Ravin to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Ravin was 2-1 with a 6.43 ERA in seven games with the Dodgers. To open a spot on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers designated RHP Matt West for assignment. He didn't allow a run in two appearances with the team.

      Dodgers demote relievers Daniel Coulombe, Matt West

      The Dodgers have announced that they have dispatched relievers Daniel Coulombe and Matt West to Triple-A Albuquerque.       The Dodgers have recalled right-hander Matt West from Triple-A prior to Saturday's game against the Giants. West has appeared in six games for Oklahoma City after being promoted from Double-A at the end of May. He owns a hefty 8.03 ERA over 12 1/3 innings. To clear room on the 25-man roster, the Dodgers optioned right-hander Josh Ravin to Triple-A, according to the Los Angeles Times. Ravin holds a 6.43 ERA through seven appearances this season with the Dodgers.

      Dodgers promote SP David Huff, send down RP Matt West

      Veteran left-hander David Huff, who has performed well since his demotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City, has been called up by the Dodgers. He will start Tuesday at Colorado, per Huff, who pitched just once in April for the Dodgers, is 2-0 with a 2.35 ERA in six games, including two starts, for Oklahoma City. He has allowed just one run on four hits in his last 7 1/3 innings. The Dodgers demoted reliever Matt West to make room for Huff. West didn't even get a sip of coffee - he had been brought up Sunday.

      The Dodgers placed pitcher Paco Rodriguez on the 15-day disabled list on Sunday, per the Orange County Register. Rodriguez was sent home from the road trip to have his elbow examined in Los Angeles. To replace Rodriguez, the team called pitcher Matt West up from Double-A Tulsa. West was 1-1, 0.87 in five games at Tulsa.

      The Dodgers have optioned pitcher Matt West to Double-A Tulsa, according to the Orange County Register. West was acquired earlier Monday from the Blue Jays for cash considerations. West appeared in seven games in 2014 for Double-A New Hampshire while a member of the Blue Jays' organization, posting a perfect 0.00 ERA with 17 strikeouts and four walks in 12 1/3 innings of work.

      The Blue Jays have sent down five pitchers from the major league camp, reports Matt West, Preston Guilmet, Gregory Infante, Scott Copeland and Greg Burke have all been sent to the team's minor-league camp. Toronto still has 24 pitchers left in camp.
