      The Mets placed reliever Erik Goeddel on the 15-day disabled list Friday due to a right elbow strain. To take his roster spot, infielder Danny Muno was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas. Goeddel tossed a scoreless eighth inning during a 5-4 win Thursday against the Giants. He has been an extremely effective reliever for New York in 2015, posting a 1.96 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in 22 relief outings. He also has 23 strikeouts in 23 innings.
