      Ramirez was traded to the the Braves for a player to be named later and cash, the team announced Friday. Ramirez spent most of his time in Triple-A last season, as he managed to pitch just 4.2 innings for the Mariners in 2015. His time in the big leagues essentially served as an audition for the pitcher to find a role in next season's rotation, but the team didn't find him worth keeping after he posted an ERA of 11.57 in his time on the mound.

The team announced that they have recalled outfielder Stefen Romero , infielder Shawn O'Malley and right-handers Jose Ramirez and Tony Zych from Triple-A Tacoma.       The Mariners optioned reliever Jose Ramirez to Triple-A Tacoma following Monday's 8-7 win over the Rockies.       The Mariners have recalled pitchers Rob Rasmussen and Jose Ramirez from Triple-A on Friday. T Rasmussen, who was acquired from the Blue Jays for Mark Lowe, made one appearance for the Jays this season, after seeing 10 games in relief last year. He did go 4-1 with a 2.36 ERA with the Blue Jays' Triple-A affiliate this season. Ramirez came to the Mariners from the Yankees in the Dustin Ackley deal on Thursday. He made three relief appearances for the Yankees this year, allowing five runs in three innings.

Flores has compiled a .286/.377/.417 slash line for the same team in 2015.
