Dodgers recall P Ian Thomas, demote P Adam Liberatore
The Dodgers swapped out pitchers Wednesday, recalling lefty Ian Thomas from Triple-A Oklahoma City and sending down left-hander Adam Liberatore, per the Los Angeles Times. Thomas was 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA in two appearances with the team earlier in the season, but was 4-1 in five starts and eight games at Triple-A. Liberatore was 2-2 with a 4.35 ERA in 25 games for the Dodgers this season.

Adam Liberatore earns win in relief for Dodgers
Dodgers reliever Adam Liberatore struck out the only batter he faced in Tuesday's win over Arizona. Liberatore entered the game with two runners on and two outs in the seventh inning. He threw a three-pitch strikeout and earned the win when the Dodgers rallied. Liberatore is now 2-1 on the season.

Dodgers option six players to the minors Saturday
The Dodgers have decided to option outfielders Chris Heisey, Enrique Hernandez, pitchers Adam Liberatore, Sergio Santos, David Aardsma and David Huff to their minor league teams, according to MLB.com. Liberatore did not allow a run in 10 1/3 innings of work this spring with nine strikeouts and three walks. Aardsma posted a 2.00 ERA with nine strikeouts in nine appearances this spring.

The Rays and Dodgers made a four player deal on Thursday in order to finalize 40-man rosters. Tampa Bay is receiving pitcher Jose Dominguez and Greg Harris.
