Rays reassign Taylor Motter and Allan Dykstra

The Rays cut two players on Monday, reassigning Taylor Motter and Allan Dykstra to minor league camp. Outfielder Motter hit .188 this spring. "Motter's pretty interesting, if you ask me," Cash said, per MLB.com's Bill Chastain. "He's going to get to the big leagues one way or the other because he's versatile. He kind of has a little bit of a chip on his shoulder that's fun to be around. The guys like him and he carries himself really well." First baseman Dykstra hit .250, including a walk-off home run.
