    White Sox snag RP Tim Crabbe from Diamondbacks

    The White Sox have acquired 27-year-old right-handed reliever Tim Crabbe from the Diamondbacks and assigned him to Triple-A Charlotte, per ESPN. The report did not indicate what Arizona received in return. Crabbe, who has yet to pitch in the major leagues, has been struggling at Double-A Mobile but received the promotion anyway. He has allowed 43 hits and 23 walks in 37 1/3 innings while compiling a 5.40 ERA. He was recently demoted by the Diamondbacks.

    Reds re-assign six to minor-league camp

    The Reds re-assigned top pitching prospect Robert Stephenson as well as infielder Reynaldo Navarro, catchers Max Ramirez and Rossmel Perez and pitchers Tim Crabbe and Michael Lorenzen to minor-league camp Tuesday. Stephenson made three appearances with the Reds this spring, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and one walk while striking out one in four innings.
