      Wilson Betemit suspended 50 games after testing positive for PEDs

      Free agent shortstop Wilson Betemit has tested positive for amphetamines and will serve a 50-game suspension. Betemit last played for the Orioles in 2013 and has also played for the Tigers, Royals, White Sox and Braves. He is a career .267 hitter with 75 home runs and 283 RBI over his 12-year pro career.
