      Analysis: Jaramillo has the potential to be a big league catcher, while the other two are not real Fantasy-worthy names. Ignore these guys in all Fantasy formats at this point.
    • 3B King among Phils spring invitees

      News: The Phillies signed outfielder Brandon Watson, catcher Paul Hoover, reliever Vic Darensbourg, 1B Andy Tracy and outfielder Val Pascucci to minor league contracts. They were invited to spring training, along with RHP Carlos Carrasco, 1B Mike Cervenak, RHP Ron Chiavacci, SS Jason Donald, OF Greg Golson, C Tuffy Gosewisch, C Tim Gradoville, 3B Brennan King, RHP Gary Knotts, C Lou Marson, LHP Brian Mazone, LHP Josh Outman, LHP Joe Savery and SS Casey Smith.
      Analysis: King is nothing more than organizational depth at this point of his career. Ignore him in all Fantasy leagues on Draft Day.
    • Phillies make some minor cuts

      News: The Phillies optioned LHP Eude Brito and LHP Fabio Castro to minor-league camp. Also, they reassigned 1B Brennan King and C Dusty Wathan to minor-league camp.
      Analysis: Brito will likely be in the Triple-A rotation, serving as a possible emergency big-league fill-in. Castro is a decent young arm, but he has work to do. King and Wathan are not worth considering in any format at this point. Ignore these guys on Draft Day.

      Analysis: None of these players is expected to make the team. Even the mid-level prospects in this group can be ignored on Draft Day in Fantasy leagues at this point.
