Nate Robertson sent packing by Tigers
The Tigers have released southpaw Nate Robertson, who had been pitching at Triple-A Toledo. The 36 year old will seek to hook on elsewhere. He compiled a 3.43 ERA with 12 walks and 13 strikeouts in 21 innings with the Mud Hens.

The Tigers have signed pitcher Nate Robertson to a minor-league deal, according to MLB.com. Robertson signed a deal with the club last week. He had previously been with the club from 2003 to 2009. He last pitched in the majors in 2010.

Nate Robertson looking to vie for bullpen role
Free agent pitcher Nate Robertson has spoken with several clubs about vying for a bullpen role this spring, according to FOX Sports. Robertson, who last pitched in the majors in 2010, spent the 2013 season pitching for the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate, going 4-4 with a 3.04 ERA in 45 relief appearances.

Nate Robertson looking for major-league job
Rangers reliever Nate Robertson is "inclined" to head to Triple-A as requested by the Rangers, but he's also keeping his options open by looking for a major-league job. "Everybody has been first-class to me," Robertson told MLB.com. "I'll let my agent handle that. If there is an opportunity with another team, they'll help me. I have been encouraged by what they say. They like me and I had a good spring but they had to make a decision." Robertson has allowed just two earned runs in 11 1/3 innings of work this spring.
