Brewers pitcher Neal Cotts working to fix mechanical issue

Brewers pitcher Neal Cotts has struggled a bit with his location so far in spring training. He's been tagged for a ton of runs, leading to a 10.13 ERA in seven appearances. He's happy with how he's thrown the last two times out, reports MLB.com. "The last two have been better than the previous times out there. A lot better," said Cotts, who made a mechanical adjustment last week. "I know the results [Monday] weren't very good, as far as getting the first two outs quickly and then struggling to get the third. The ball is coming out better. … I'm not happy. I wasn't happy not getting through the inning yesterday after getting two quick outs. If I was satisfied with that, I shouldn't be here anymore." Manager Ron Roenicke wants to see more consistency from him. "Whether it's just confidence or whether their stuff isn't the same, that's tough to say. But we need to see more out of them," Roenicke said.
