      Mariners' Nelson Cruz likely to DH for rest of 2015 season

      Mariners slugger Nelson Cruz may remain limited to DH duty for the remainder of the season due to lingering quad soreness, Greg Johns of reports. While Cruz has not played the field since Sept. 1 due to the quad issue, he's been able serve as the designated hitter in each of the team's last 10 games, and it sounds like the DH tag will allow the Mariners to keep his bat in the lineup over the final two weeks.
