    • Herr sent to Reds for cash

News: MILB.com reports that the Indians have traded INF Aaron Herr to the Reds for cash.
Analysis: Herr was taken in the first round of the 2000 draft, but has never made it up to the majors. He should continue to be ignored in all Fantasy formats.
    • Indians cut eight from spring camp

News: The Indians optioned OF Brad Snyder to Triple-A Buffalo, and reassigned RHP Matt Ginter, RHP Jeff Harris, LHP Rich Rundles, C Armando Camacaro, C David Wallace, 2B Aaron Herr and SS Danny Sandoval to minor league camp Thursday.
Analysis: Snyder has pop in his bat, but is nothing more than a low-end AL-only option if he gets called up. The other players are organizational depth at this point and can be ignored in all Fantasy leagues.
    • Indians invite five to spring camp

News: The Indians signed UTL Andy Gonzalez, RHP Matt Ginter, 2B Aaron Herr, SS Danny Sandoval and C Armando Camacaro to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training.
Analysis: These players are nothing more than reserves or organizational depth at this point of their careers. Ignore them on Draft Day in all Fantasy formats.
    • Reds assign 2B Herr to minors

News: The Reds released RHP Bubba Nelson and RHP Luke Hudson and assigned 2B Aaron Herr, 2B Anderson Machado, 3B Derek Wathan and RHP Josh Hall to their minor league camp.
Analysis: Herr is nothing more than organizational depth at this point in his career. The Reds are deep at that position in the big leagues, too, so ignore Herr in Fantasy leagues on Draft Day. He's not much of a long-term keeper prospect either.
