Bobcats waive Thomas

The Bobcats waived forward Tyrus Thomas as part of the amnesty provision at the start of free agency, in order to clear room for the signing of Al Jefferson. Thomas had two years and $19 million left on his contract, and is now a free agent after making it through waivers.
