The Hornets don't have interest in signing Jennings, ESPN.com's Marc Stein reports.

After Jennings was waived by the Knicks on Monday, his former coach in Detroit, Stan Van Gundy, indicated that the point guard was en route to Charlotte and likely to sign with the Hornets, but it appears those reports were premature. Though the Hornets are lacking in depth at point guard following the multi-week injury to reserve Ramon Sessions (knee), the team recently added D-League standout Briante Weber on a 10-day contract, and are apparently satisfied with him and Brian Roberts as their backup point guards behind starter Kemba Walker. While it appears we can cross one potential destination off the list for Jennings, the 27-year-old is still likely to attract interest from other contending clubs, with the Wizards reportedly being one of those teams, according to Turner Sports' David Aldridge.
