Middleton notched 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six assists, two rebounds, and one steal over 24 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Kings.

Despite seeing almost 10 minutes less than he's averaged for the season Wednesday as a result of his five fouls, Middleton was still able to match his highest scoring effort of the campaign. Middleton is averaging a career-high 14.2 points and continues to knock down three-pointers, hit free throws, and gather steals at steady clips, but he'll need to up his rebound rate (3.1 per game) and improve his field-goal percentage (39.7%) if he hopes to build on his breakout from a season ago.
