Bucks' Khris Middleton: Surgery deemed a success

Middleton underwent successful surgery Wednesday and is without a firm timetable for a return.

Though the Bucks aren't committing to a timeline, it's expected that Middleton will be sidelined for approximately six months, meaning that a return shouldn't be expected until March, at the earliest. Middleton's absence is a huge loss for the Bucks, as he led the team in scoring with a career-high 18.2 points per game last season, while contributing 4.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 three-pointers and 1.7 steals per game. It's unclear who will claim Middleton's spot in the starting lineup, but his minutes could be filled by a committee that includes Matthew Dellavedova, Michael Beasley, Rashad Vaughn, Malcolm Brogdon and Mirza Teletovic.
