Thompson scored 14 points (6-9 FG, 2-7 FT) while adding 13 rebounds, two blocks and an assist in 28 minutes during Saturday's 116-104 win over the Magic.
His production has cratered recently, as Thompson had managed to score in double digits just once in his previous seven games while pulling down double-digit boards only twice, so it's reassuring to see him accomplish both feats in the same game again. He's also been struggling from the free throw line -- including Saturday's poor showing, he's shooting just 33.3 percent (7-for-21) from the charity stripe in March -- and it's fair to wonder whether Thompson's nursing an injury, or is simply trying to do too much to compensate for the loss of Kevin Love (knee).
