Thomas registered 19 points (6-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and one steal across 15 minutes in Monday's 120-99 preseason win over the Nets.
Thomas had a nearly flawless night from all over the court, but his lack of assists and four turnovers in limited minutes put a ceiling on his DFS output. The point guard recently returned from a wrist injury, so more than anything else, it was encouraging to see him shoot the ball so well. With the Celtics improving their roster by adding Al Horford this summer, Thomas may not be needed to take on as significant of a scoring role, but his production isn't expected to see too much of a decline in 2016-17.
