Not all outstanding matchups are created equally.

The Warriors take on the Suns tonight in what should be a bloodbath. The blowout concerns aren't what bother me though. It's the idea that they could rest players and the fact that it's a late game means we may have little to no warning.

That largely eliminates them from cash consideration unless we get some solid news before lock. Thankfully, the night is full of even better situations.

Kyrie Irving is on fire and faces a Lakers team that is the worst in the league against point guards. That makes him an outstanding cash game play, but ownership may limit his tournament upside. The same could likely be said for DeMarcus Cousins, who faces a nearly identical situation in Philadelphia. I

f the Kings and 76ers are the clear choice for stackable game of the night, you might be surprised by my second choice.

The Grizzlies are not a team you ever expect to include in a game stack with their stodgy defense. The injury to Marc Gasol changes that, as the team will change drastically and pricing doesn't have time to adjust. Zach Randolph may be the most obvious benefactor but Jeff Green and even Mike Conley should see a usage boost.

Even more contrarian may be the idea that the Grizzlies aren't that bad a matchup without Gasol. I'll definitely have some exposure to Thaddeus Young and Brook Lopez in test of that theory.

Injury Report

C Marc Gasol (Foot, Out)
Zach Randolph's usage should go through the roof and Jeff Green should see extended run at PF.

PG Jameer Nelson (Wrist, Questionable) & PF Darrell Arthur (Quad, Doubtful)
Emmanuel Mudiay and Kenneth Faried should both see big minutes again.

SG Kobe Bryant (Shoulder, Questionable)
The only way I'm playing Jordan Clarkson is if Bryant sits.

SF Tobias Harris (Ankle, Questionable)
Evan Fournier becomes a consideration against a bad matchup.

Wednesday's Slate

Sacramento @ Philadelphia

It doesn't get much better than this in terms of stackable games. Both of these teams are horrendous defensively and offer a full complement of options offensively. DeMarcus Cousins is likely the top cash game play of the night, but Rajon Rondo and Ish Smith aren't far behind.

Atlanta @ Chicago

The Hawks are talking about blowing everything up, but they look downright stable compared to the struggling Bulls. Pau Gasol makes me wish that Cousins didn't have such a perfect matchup. Because you can only play one center, Paul Millsap is likely my favorite play from this game. Derrick Rose makes a really nice contrarian play with Jimmy Butler out.

Golden State @ Phoenix

There's plenty of reason to be concerned about the Warriors playing time in their last game before the All Star Break. The second half of a back-to-back against one of the worst teams in the league doesn't make me feel any better about it. I'll play some Warriors in tournaments for sure but I'm fading them in cash. Archie Goodwin and Markieff Morris will be the popular plays from this game. I like Devin Booker, whose ownership will plummet after his last poor outing.

Houston @ Portland
Fantasy points allowed: 404

Damian Lillard and James Harden have fantastic matchups on Tuesday night and both can be considered in any format. Trevor Ariza may be a little bit better contrarian play, as is C.J. McCollum. Watch for news on Dwight Howard, he played 35 minutes on Tuesday.

L.A. Lakers @ Cleveland
Fantasy points allowed: 400.7

I'm not sure anyone will be more highly owned than Kyrie Irving on Wednesday. He has the dream matchup, a solid recent history, and he scored 53 Fantasy points on Monday. It's the perfect recipe for huge ownership. I'll play him in cash, but I'm likely to have less of him than the field in tournaments.

Denver @ Detroit
Fantasy points allowed: 398.7

Everyone loved Stanley Johnson on Monday. He stunk. Johnson has an outstanding matchup on Wednesday. I can't wait to see how much his ownership drops simply because of that one outing. On the other hand, Nikola Jokic has only played 31 minutes in his last two games combined. Jokic has been great, so I have no explanation for the drop in playing time, but it scares me off him as anything more than a contrarian play.

Memphis @ Brooklyn

I'm going all-in on Zach Randolph against an outstanding matchup. Marc Gasol is out for the foreseeable future so we should see Randolph's usage spike. In 404 minutes without Gasol Randolph has seen a 27.6 usage, which is four points higher than his season mark.

Charlotte @ Indiana
Fantasy points allowed: 396.2

Myles Turner has averaged 30 minutes and 27 Fantasy points in the two games since Ian Mahinmi's return, so until something changes I'm going to assume Turner's minutes are safe. Cody Zeller is $1,000 less if you want to punt one of the PF positions. Nicolas Batum is the best play in this game, especially with his new SG eligibility.

L.A. Clippers @ Boston
Fantasy points allowed: 389.1

DeAndre Jordan should dominate this matchup, but again the glut at center makes him less valuable. Jamal Crawford has been outstanding recently, but it's really hard to play him at $5,000.

Toronto @ Minnesota
Fantasy points allowed: 386.9

This game doesn't really intrigue me outside of Minnesota's big men. Their both tournament-only plays.

Utah @ New Orleans
Fantasy points allowed: 385.2

Derrick Favors gets an outstanding matchup. Anthony Davis has a terrible one. I like them both. I'm not sure matchups matter as much for Davis as health does. No one is really stopping him when he's right.

San Antonio @ Orlando

There's just no way.
