Waiters (ankle) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Waiters has missed the last 11 games with a sprained left ankle, but the Heat's decision to upgrade him to questionable suggests he'll have a legitimate chance at returning for one or both of the team's final two contests of the regular season. Look for the Heat to reevaluate Waiters following morning shootaround, at which point more clarity on his situation should be made available. Even if Waiters is cleared to play, it's likely his playing time would be restricted on some level, making him a poor lineup option in season-long leagues heading into the final week of the season.
