Heat's Dion Waiters: Turns in another strong shooting outing in win

Waiters turned in 15 points (5-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals across 27 minutes in Tuesday's 107-77 preseason win over the Magic.

Although he hasn't yet been confirmed as the Heat's starting shooting guard to begin the season, Waiters has done little to change his status as the frontrunner. Waiters has hit double figures in the scoring column in all six preseason games, and he's done so in an atypically efficient manner. He's gone 28-for-56 (50 percent) from the field, 8-for-16 (50 percent) from long distance and 17-for-21 (80.9 percent) from the charity stripe in those contests.
