Babbitt is still dealing with tightness in his groin and was restricted to non-contact work during Monday's practice, Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports.

Babbitt was forced to miss Friday's preseason matchup with the Spurs and continues to deal with some lingering tightness despite having the full weekend off for rest. His goal is to return at some point during the Heat's final three preseason games, which means he should be good to go for the regular season opener. The Heat have yet to announce a starter at power forward, so once healthy, Babbitt will continue to compete with Derrick Williams and James Johnson for that role. For now, consider Babbitt day-to-day.
