Johnson notched 15 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds, one block and one steal across 24 minutes in Tuesday's 107-77 preseason win over the Magic.

Johnson looked fresh during his time on the court after missing the Heat's previous exhibition for rest, scoring at least 14 points for the third straight contest. Dion Waiters' strong preseason has left him as the frontrunner to open the season as the Heat's starting shooting guard, but Johnson figures to see plenty of run at both backcourt spots as the club's sixth man. Now fully recovered from the left shoulder injury that had plagued him for much of his first two NBA seasons, Johnson could very well take a leap forward as the Heat look to transition to a post-Dwyane Wade era.
