Hornets' Frank Kaminsky: Plays 30 minutes off bench Saturday
Kaminsky contributed 14 points (4-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block across 30 minutes during Saturday's 98-93 victory over the Wizards.
Despite the return of Cody Zeller -- who missed 13 out of 14 games from Jan. 25 to Feb. 26 -- to the starting five, Kaminsky has still averaged 30.8 minutes per game since Zeller has come back. Kaminsky's fantasy value has risen throughout the season with his increased minutes, as he's shown an ability to beef up his stats when given additional run. Though he's averaging just 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds across 25.9 minutes per game on the season, he's averaged 16.5 points and 6.0 rebounds across 32.6 minutes per game over his past 13 appearances. With coach Steve Clifford seemingly committed to playing Kaminsky 30 minutes per night, the three-point shooting big man is worth serious consideration in any fantasy format.
