Hornets' Nicolas Batum: Cleared to play Monday
Batum (eye) has been cleared to play for Monday's game against the Grizzlies, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
Batum was held out of Saturday's game against the Knicks because of an eye abrasion, but the extra time off was enough for him to be cleared for a return. He'll jump back into the starting lineup Monday, which means Jeremy Lamb should return to a bench role and will likely see a significant decrease in playing time. Batum isn't expected to be on any sort of minutes restriction Monday.
