Hayward (quad) will play and start in Wednesday's game against the Kings, Tony Jones of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Hayward missed Monday's game against the Pelicans with a bruised quad, but after going through Wednesday's morning shootaround, the writing was on the wall for his eventual return. As expected, Hayward has now officially been cleared, so he'll resume his role as the team's starting small forward and likely won't be on any sort of minutes restrictions. Hayward's return also signals Joe Ingles move back to the bench and could also mean less time for Joe Johnson.
