Hood (hand) went through morning shootaround and is expected to play in Wednesday's preseason game against the Trail Blazers, Aaron Falk of the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

A sprained left hand has limited Hood over the last week, and he's missed the Jazz's last two exhibition contests. After going through a full shootaround unabated, Hood should be in line to reclaim his usual spot in the starting lineup at shooting guard, though the Jazz could monitor his minutes carefully. Hood, who averaged 14.5 points per game in his second NBA season, is expected to take on a greater scoring role early in the 2016-17 campaign while star small forward Gordon Hayward misses the first handful of games while recovering from a broken finger.
