Cauley-Stein played 14 minutes and produced eight points (3-4 FG, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, one block and one steal in Monday's 101-95 overtime loss to the Wizards.

Cauley-Stein had been a non-entity in coach Dave Joerger's rotation in the preceding five games -- receiving no more than eight minutes in any contest and not even playing in two of those contests -- but he provided the Kings with a lift off the bench Monday. It could enable the second-year center to cut into Kosta Koufos' minutes a little more, but Cauley-Stein will need to see a more consistent workload before he can be trusted in most season-long leagues.
