Early contributed 10 points (4-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds, and two blocks over 22 minutes in Friday's 110-95 victory over the Celtics.

After three lackluster outings, Early turned in what was easily his most productive performance of the preseason. The second-year pro was impressive on both ends of the floor, shooting well from the field and flawlessly from beyond the arc, as well as posting a pair of blocks. Early's biggest problem is that he still lags considerably behind multiple proven players on the small forward depth chart, and that his closest competition, Derrick Williams, has put together an extremely impressive body of work in the exhibition slate. Early has two more preseason opportunities to make an impression, beginning with tomorrow night's contest against the Hornets.
