Knicks' Courtney Lee: X-rays come back negative
Lee had X-rays on his ankle come back negative, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.
Lee was forced from Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves after suffering a sprained ankle and was unable to return. Fortunately, Lee's X-rays suggest that the injury is not serious, and he shouldn't miss extended time. As long as he is out, Justin Holiday and Brandon Jennings should see increased roles in the Knicks' frontcourt. Lee's next opportunity to play will be Friday against the Timberwolves in the back end of a two-game series.
