Knicks' Jimmer Fredette: Will not be re-signed by the Knicks

Fredette will not be re-signed to another 10-day contract by the Knicks, Ian Begley of ESPN reports.

Fredette appeared in just two games for the Knicks during his last 10-day contact, scoring seven total points and accruing no other offensive or defensive stats in 3 minutes per game through both games. Fredette shot rather well (1-1 FG, 1-1 3PT, 4-5 FT) in his extremely limited time with the Knicks. Though his sample size might not be enough for another NBA team to sign him right away, his efficient performance probably bodes well for him down the line. Expect Fredette to most likely return to the D-League in the immediate future.
