Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Puts up 19 points in Sunday start
Clarkson registered 19 points (8-18 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six assists and three rebounds over 41 minutes in Sunday's 125-120 loss to the Cavaliers.
Clarkson earned a fourth straight start at point guard but played second fiddle to backcourt mate D'Angelo Russell, who turned in a career-high 40 points while replacing Nick Young (illness) on the night. However, the third-year guard had a strong outing in his own right while playing his highest amount of minutes on the season. Clarkson has now scored at least 19 points in seven straight games and eight of nine March contests overall.
