Lakers' Jordan Clarkson: Returns to bench, scores 18 points in 32 minutes
Clarkson produced 18 points (7-17 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five assists, four rebounds and two steals across 32 minutes off the bench in Sunday's 109-94 win over the Hawks.
Clarkson received his first appointment to the starting five of the season in Friday's loss to the Warriors, but with Nick Young (toe) back for Sunday's contest, he settled back into his usual sixth-man role. Even so, with D'Angelo Russell (knee) still sidelined, Clarkson should continue to get a mild bump in shot volume and playing time, which has been reflected in Clarkson's performance over the last four games. He's averaging 18.0 points (on 43.5% shooting from the field), 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 steals, 2.8 assists and 1.3 three-pointers in 31.3 minutes per game over that stretch.
