Brown's 10-day contract expired Friday and he wasn't re-signed by the Suns.

The Suns elected to give Brown's roster spot to D-League standout Jordan McRae, who previously set the circuit's single-game scoring record with 61 points earlier this month. Brown had been serving as the Suns' backup point guard to Archie Goodwin of late, but it looks like those duties will fall to a combination of McRae and Sonny Weems until either Brandon Knight (groin) or Ronnie Price (toe) is able to return.
