Magic's Jeff Green: Misses practice Monday

Green (back) was held out of practice Monday, but hopes to be available for Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs, Philip Rossman-Reich of Orlando Magic Daily reports.

Green was held out of Sunday's outing versus the Bucks, as he dealt with some soreness in his lower back. He took Monday's practice off for additional treatment and rest, with the hope that his back makes significant improvement over night. Green will attempt to go through Tuesday's morning shootaround, so if he's able to do that without any lingering discomfort, he could make a return to the court against the Spurs. Green has started the last seven games he's played in and will likely reclaim his spot as the starting small forward once available, pushing Aaron Gordon back to the bench after a brutal showing in Green's absence.
