Mejri started and scored 14 points (5-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added six rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 30 minutes during Thursday's 97-87 loss to the Hornets.

Andrew Bogut (rest) sat out Thursday, opening a spot for Mejri to enter the starting lineup. He filled in admirably, putting up a well-rounded line in a full compliment of minutes. This was the second time Mejri has started in a game Bogut missed, and he has averaged 31.0 minutes between those games. Nonetheless, Bogut's absence was simply the result of rest, and Mejri shout return to his normal limited duties in Saturday's game against the Bulls. The biggest takeaway here is that, whenever Bogut next misses a game, Mejri will become a valuable option for daily games.
