Coach Rick Carlisle said that Curry (shoulder) won't play in Friday's game against the Spurs and could be out for the remainder of the season, Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com reports.

Given that the Mavericks don't have much to play for in their final four games, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise for the team to shut Curry down as a precaution while he continues to tend to a sore left shoulder. Until the Mavericks indicate otherwise, however, Curry will be evaluated on a game-by-game basis, though he wouldn't seem to make for a great roster option in most leagues at this stage of the season. Yogi Ferrell will likely continue to start at point guard and approach 30 minutes in most games for the duration of Curry's absence.
