Matthews' minutes restriction has been upgraded to roughly 30 minutes per night, the Dallas Morning News reports.
Matthews has been limited to 26-29 minutes on most nights through the early portion of the season, but he said after Saturday's game that he'll be allowed to clear the 30-minute threshold. Obviously, that means Matthews is close to playing without restriction, and he said he could be without limitation by the end of November. Matthews is averaging 10.5 points and 2.0 rebounds in 27.5 minutes over his last four games.
