Ferrell tallied eight points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, three steals, two rebounds and one blocked shot over 22 minutes in Sunday's 111-104 win over the Nets.

Sunday's game provided more evidence that Ferrell's minutes are gradually getting absorbed by J.J. Barea, as Barea saw 26 minutes on the floor(his highest total since returning) to Ferrell's 22. Barea also outpaced Ferrell in scoring and assists. Ferrell has done an admirable job during a rough patch of injuries for Dallas, but all signs point to a downward spiral for Ferrell's production. Since Barea's return Ferrell has only managed an anemic 9.3 points and 3.3 assists. Ferrell owners should consider moving him to the bench as Barea appears to be on the verge of taking the reins at point guard.
