Toupane is set to sign a 10-day deal with the Nuggets on Tuesday, Shams Charania of Yahoo! Sports reports.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has spent the season with Raptors 905 of the D-League, appearing in 32 games and averaging 14.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists while shooting 42.9 percent from the floor and 31.3 percent from three-point range. Toupane is unlikely to see a major role right away for the Nuggets, but the team will probably carve out a few bench minutes for him as they figure to back their way out of playoff contention over the final quarter of the season.
