Pelicans' Jrue Holiday: Scores 22 points in first start of season

Holiday started at shooting guard and generated 22 points (8-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal across 29 minutes in Tuesday's 105-88 win over the Lakers.

Holiday entered the starting five for the first time all season, though he worked primarily off the ball with Tim Frazier continuing to slot in as the starting point guard. After the Pelicans were able to score an easy win over the Lakers, thanks in large part to Holiday's strong play, it seems likely that the 26-year-old will continue to stick in a starting role over E'Twaun Moore. The move won't necessarily lead to a noticeable uptick in playing time or production for Holiday, who was already averaging 27.0 minutes per contest heading into Tuesday.
