Hill recorded 30 points (8-13 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 38 minutes in Friday's 128-112 win over the Rockets.

Hill was lights-out in this game and should end up seeing high demand on the waiver wire after this outburst. He shot a blistering 61.5 from the floor and 66.6 percent from beyond the arc. Although Hill and DeMarcus Cousins (knee) play different positions, it's interesting to note that since Boogie's trade, the Pelicans have been 2-0 without him and 3-7 when he's playing. Hill has played an integral part in both of these wins. Hill started out hot, scoring 14 of his 30 points in the first quarter, which included draining four threes. There's little argument that the Pelicans look a little more 'together' without Cousins on the floor, and it's hard to ignore Hill's breakout game in a much-needed victory over the Rockets. Perhaps there isn't enough room in the frontcourt for Anthony Davis and Cousins, as it may be stifling players like Hill? It will be an interesting situation to monitor as the expectations for the team are high as the playoffs creep closer.
