Pelicans' Tim Frazier: Scores only eight points in Sunday's loss
Frazier finished with eight points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, two rebounds and two steals across 31 minutes in Sunday's 91-81 loss to the Mavericks.
While Frazier didn't have a great outing, posting his fewest points and assists in a game since Nov. 16, it's more notable that he saw 30-plus minutes for the sixth time in a row. Those games have corresponded with the return of Jrue Holiday from personal leave, suggesting that Frazier won't be at risk of losing playing time, as coach Alvin Gentry has shown a willingness to use both guards alongside one another. The impending return of Tyreke Evans from knee surgery -- which will likely come at some point in December -- could result in Frazier sacrificing some minutes, but since Evans will probably face significant restrictions upon returning, his presence may not hurt Frazier in a major way.
