Baynes (ankle) could play in one of the Pistons' preseason games either Tuesday or Wednesday, NBA.com's Keith Langlois reports.
The backup center is being held out of Saturday's game, but it sounds like he will return next week. That said, the Pistons will continue to bring him along slowly, as he would only suit up in one of the games Tuesday or Wednesday, and not both.
