Ellenson (ankle) was inactive for Wednesday's game against the Celtics and is considered day-to-day moving forward, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.

Ellenson sprained his right ankle during Monday's practice and has been inactive for the Pistons' last two games because of it. However, he rarely saw the court even before the injury, so there's a good chance he wouldn't have logged a minute even at full strength. He'll continue to rehab over the next few days, with the hope of being available for Friday's outing versus the Hawks. Ellenson will need to earn a role in coach Stan Van Gundy's regular rotation before being considered a viable fantasy option.
